Bachelor Project Competition
The bachelor project competition is a competition organized annually by the SPIN board in cooperation with the NNV. From each university or college, the best bachelor project (both physics and astronomy) can be sent in by the respective study association. This can be a thesis or a report of a graduation project. A pre-selection jury will choose the three best projects from these reports. The pre-selection jury consists of people looking at the reports from different perspectives. Think of a PhD student, a professor, someone from the NNV, or someone from the business world. The authors of the chosen projects may present their work at FYSICA, where a new jury of experts from different fields will determine the winner. The NNV will provide the grand prize of €500, which will be presented by the NNV president at an awards ceremony later in the day.
